One of the questions I get very often is "How do I get rid of my Bloated Stomach?" My first reaction is "Stop eating all that crap and your stomach won't bloat!!" But for a more useful answer I am list some foods that will help reduce your "Bloat"
Kiwi: Kiwi is great for digestion. It has Fibre, Vitamin C, Potassium and contains digestive enzymes.
Cantaloupe: Cantaloupe is a great fruit that contains lots of vitamins and lots of fiber... which in turn help digest and reduce Bloat!
Asparagus: Asparagus contains lots of fiber and lots of water. The combination of both helps eliminate gas from your stomach.
Banana: Banana is great for Bloat. It contains Fiber, Potassium, Vitamin C... which reduces your Bloat!!
Lemon: Lemon is a great detoxifier, which will help eliminate the toxins out of your body... aid in digestion... and reduces stomach acid!
Cucumber: Cucumber is a vegetable most people don't think of when trying to get rid of bloat, but it has lots of water... which helps reduce Bloat... Cucumber also contains Fiber, Sodium and Potassium.
Ginger: Ginger is a wonder food that has many uses... including reducing Bloat! Ginger has lots of potassium, calcium, and Vitamin B6 and C.
Peppermint: Peppermint leaves are an excellent digestive aid. They have lots of water, Vitamin C, Potassium, and Calcium.
Green Tea: Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant. It helps reduce the damage done to your cells by free radical molecules. Add mint to your tea and you will get a great natural digestive aid! Drinking after meals as a pick me up will also help reduce Bloat and increase digestion!
Avocados: Avocados are an excellent source of healthy fats. They are also packed with vitamins, minerals and fiber to reduce Bloat.
Fennel: Fennel is an excellent digestive aid. Add it to soups, salads, pies and stews... or boil it till soft and eat it with salt and pepper.
